Christmas Movie Recommendations

Holiday Season is almost here. Everything becomes festive: store windows, tv commercials, even in the radio you can already hear Christmas songs. But if you don’t feel it yet, I have a way for you to change it. Christmas movies- nothing gets you so much in festive mood as those touching stories. I’ve decided to pick 5 best Christmas movies in my opinion and here’s the list: 5. ‘Nativity’: is a story of primary school teacher: Mr Maddens, who despite all the obstacles, is trying to do the best nativity play in the city and beat the other school where his old friend/enemy works. 4. ‘Elf’: Buddy’s search of father and exploring human world is full of funny moments. Also you can’t be more festive than he is. 3.National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation: a comedy with Chevy Chase is always a good idea. And no matter how many times you’d watch it, it still makes you laugh. 2. ‘Home Alone’: it became a tradition to watch at least one part of Home Alone during

Gingerbread Tradition

We still have over a moth till Christmas, but those of you who are thinking about baking gingerbreads, have to prepare themselves early enough. It is essential to bake gingerbreads at least 3 weeks earlier, if you want them to be soft on Christmas day. Of course it all depends on the recipe and  measurements of the ingredients. Chocolate lovers can enjoy themselves and try all different kinds of chocolate tastes in a special prices (20% discount). Also, especially for this occasion Cafe Misja CK Fara has prepared two limited edition hot chocolates: one with pinch of chili and another one called Oreo. It is important to treat yourself from time to time and with winter coming we have a good excuse to do it 😊 There’s nothing better (or almost nothing) than a mug of delicious hot chocolate that warms our bodies and souls after a long day. Origin of this beverage date back to Aztec’s times. In XVI century the recipe arrived in Europe and ever since hot chocolate has won our hearts. So if you’re freezing from the cold outside or simply want to try something new, the evet will take place from 27 th of November till 1 st of Decemb

Brace yourself autumn is coming

Recently one of Warsaw’s coffee shops has shocked the internet with their newest offer: coffee with human breast milk. They are promoting this ‘superfood’ as good for our health and say that it can boost our immune system. Local’s spokesman explains that the idea came from the western countries and there’s no legal regulation that would forbid this kind of practise. The concept arouse controversy mainly because breastfeeding for some still remains a taboo. Also one of the most repeated question concerned the origin of the milk. Even though there’s no medical proof that the breast milk would actually be beneficial for adults, anyone who is interested in trying can to this by going to Żona Krawca since 8 th of November
