Being royal has plenty of perks, but it’s not always that great to be a part of the Family. Anyone who has ever watched The Crown or any other documentary about British Royal Family, knows that with the power and privileges come also responsibilities and set of rules they’re obligated to follow. You might have already heard about some of the Royals weird traditions, this is the list of 5 rules that I, personally, find the most bizarre. 1.      They can not play Monopoly Why? It’s simple. Prince Andrew, Elisabeth II’s son, once he took part in some public event. He’s been introduced to the game and its rules, but he didn’t quite liked it. Therefore, he decided that Monopoly should be forbidden and members of the family should not be allowed to play it. 2.      The British Royal Family can not eat seafood Seafood can cause food poisoning, that’s why the Royals can not eat crabs, mussels or shrimps. 3.      They have to weight themselves before and after the Christmas Diner

A drink that saves lives

Have you ever heard about something called Angel Drink? (also Angel Shot) It happens to be an international code. Basically by ordering this drink, you would alert the bartender that something wrong is happening, you would give him an information that you feel uncomfortable or unsafe in a certain situation. Both girls and boys can order Angel Drink in situation when they feel threatened by something or someone and the staff members would automatically know how to react. There are different types of this drink that can signify various types of endangerment, for instance order the shot “neat” and someone from the security would accompany you to your car. Angel Shot “with ice” means that you want them to call you a taxi, you can also order Angel Shot “with lime”- which would mean that you feel truly threatened and in result the bartender would call police. This code invented by American bartenders has quickly spread all around the world and has so far saved a lot of young people.

The power of imagination

You know when they told us that reading a book can change us? Well, recently it has been   proven. The scientists have conducted a research and it has showed that each book we read can affect and change our brain. The experiment lasted 19 days and each day in the morning the volunteers were examined with the magnetic resonance. After five days of not reading anything at all, the participants were to read 30 pages of Robert Harris’s Pompei- in the evening and next day-in the morning their knowledge was tested by a short quiz about the content of the book and after that: their brains were once again examined with the magnetic resonance. Last five days, just like at the very beginning, they didn’t read anything. The results were surprising. In brief: our brains were acting as if we were taking part in the activities described in the book. While reading, we tend to imagine ourselves being characters of the stories and it was visible on the resonance. Of course, there’re some scientist
